A safe load indicator has the capability of detecting the angle, weight of load lifted, and ground radius of any lifting device. It controls the lifting equipment to the level that it tries to keep the machinery functioning as per the manufacturer's suggested safety charts. The load indicator sensor generates an electrical signal that is proportional to the load. This signal is processed by a micro-processor analyser and then transmitted via radio waves to the display unit, which immediately displays the load applied to the sensor to which it is linked. A digital load cell outputs numbers to the indicator while an analog load cell outputs voltage.
