How verification and supplier quotation access works.

When is my buy lead saved in the database?

Only after the 6-digit email OTP is successfully verified. It is first stored as Pending; Admin approval is required before the lead becomes public.

Do I need an existing TradesFolks account?

No. If your verified email has no buyer account, TradesFolks creates a verified buyer profile after OTP confirmation so the RFQ can be managed securely.

What information should I include?

Product specification, quantity, unit, delivery destination, timeline, certification requirements and target price where available.

Can suppliers see my password or private credentials?

No. Never add passwords or payment credentials to a requirement. Only sourcing information required to evaluate and quote the RFQ should be posted.
