Business marketplace accounts can contain commercial, contact and transaction information, so account security should be treated as an operational responsibility.

Authentication

  • Use a strong unique password where password login is enabled.
  • Keep access to the registered email account secure.
  • Never share OTPs or passwords.
02

Device and browser hygiene

  • Sign out from shared devices.
  • Keep browsers and operating systems updated.
  • Avoid entering credentials on lookalike domains.
03

Business process security

  • Verify sensitive bank-detail or payment changes independently.
  • Limit account access to authorized team members.
  • Review contact/profile information when staff responsibilities change.
