Golden Sella Rice

Description. India Gate Golden Sella Rice is renowned for superfine kernels, great taste, exquisite aroma, and silky texture. This variety of rice is traditionally and organically grown by expert farmers. It is non-glutinous and has a fine, smooth and silky texture. Golden Sella Basmati Rice is parboiled basmati rice while still in its husk (rice paddy) and then milled to make a long slender shaped golden color rice grains. When cooked rice is firmer and less sticky, easier to digest, better in nutrition and has strong ability to absorb the flavor of herbs and spices. Parboiled rice, also called converted rice, easy-cook rice, sella rice, and miniket (as predominantly called in West Bengal and Odisha in India, and in Bangladesh) is rice that has been partially boiled in the husk.
