Alphonso Mango Pulp

The product is derived from fully sound, matured, fresh, naturally ripened Alphonso Mango fruits (Mangifera Indica L Anacardiacae VAR Alphonso), washed, sliced, deseeded, refined, decanted, homogenized, thermally processed and packed in aseptic bags to render it “commercially sterile”. Alphonso mango pulp is also ideal for mango lassi, whisked with natural yogurt and seasoned with a touch of ground cardamom. Mango pulp is a pseudoplastic liquid composed of starch components, fiber (i.e., pectin and other fibers) and soluble components (i.e., sugar and organic acids and water as a solvent). Most of the water is bound to these components to form a viscous pulp.
