How to Add Delivery Location and Destination Requirements to an RFQ
Destination information affects freight, documentation, taxes, lead time and supplier eligibility, so it should be clear early in the RFQ.
Domestic sourcing
- Provide the delivery city/state and country.
- Clarify whether freight should be included or quoted separately.
International sourcing
- Provide destination country and port when known.
- State the requested Incoterm only if you understand the responsibility split.
- Mention destination-specific compliance or labeling needs.
Keep location accurate
- Do not use an unrelated location simply to attract more suppliers.
