Tungsten Tri Oxide, Colour : White

Tungsten trioxide (WO3) is an inorganic compound consisting of tungsten and oxygen atoms in a ratio of 1:3. It occurs as a yellow crystalline solid with various shades depending on its particle size and preparation method, ranging from pale yellow to deep orange. Tungsten trioxide is primarily used in the production of tungsten metal and alloys due to its role as an intermediate in the tungsten refining process. It is also utilized in the manufacture of electrochromic materials for smart windows, where its ability to change color reversibly upon the application of an electrical charge is advantageous.
