It is said that there is no part of the world where chickweed doesn’t grow, it is even found in the North Arctic regions. Chickweed is best known for it's ability to cool inflammation and speed healing for internal or external flare-ups.It comes in capsule, liquid extract, tincture, tea, ointment, oils and dried herb forms. In alternative medicine, it's used primarily as a topical cream or ointment. Stellaria spp is rich in Vitamin C and is excellent for helping to dissolve fats in the body.
