The H8C is a low-profile shear beam load cell designed for high-accuracy platform scales, pallet scales, and process weighing applications. Single-ended beam load cells are secured at one end with the load applied to the opposite end. These beam load cells are used for a wide range of applications including floor scales, hopper scales and many Legal for Trade applications. This element is a piece of metal that is elastically deformed under load and recovers the moment the load is removed. This deformation or strain is picked up by strain gauges installed on the metal element and converted into an electrical signal.
