Load pins are internally gauged with a drilled center carrying force-measuring strain gauges. Like other load cells, these strain gauges monitor the change in the electrical signal caused by force, which is then converted into weight measurement. Load pins have a bored center, which contains internal, force measuring strain gauges. Like other load sensors, these strain gauges measure the change in the electrical signal caused by force being applied in a specific direction. This change in electrical signal is then converted to a weight measurement. Load pins measure the force acting on a structure, by replacing the shafts or non-instrumented pins to act as the direct component of the assembly.
