A Safe Load Indicator (SLI) or an Automatic Safe Load Indicator (ASLI) is a device which is installed on mobile or portal cranes to alert the operator if the lift is exceeding the safe operating range of the machinery. The load indicator sensor generates an electrical signal that is proportional to the load. This signal is processed by a micro-processor analyser and then transmitted via radio waves to the display unit, which immediately displays the load applied to the sensor to which it is linked. The crane load moment indicator is a safety device that measures and monitors the weight and angle of a crane's boom. It calculates the load moment on the crane based on the boom angle, length, and weight of the load, providing real-time data and alerts to the crane operator when the crane approaches its load limits.
