1121 Basmati Rice

1121 Basmati rice is basically a derived variety of rice created through a process of hybridization and extended breeding. The grain length can be as much as 8.4 millimetres (0.33 in) for a single grain, which is the longest ever known globally. Pusa Basmati 1121 is an independently derived Basmati rice variety, evolved through the process of hybridization over a long breeding process.
