Kabuli Chickpeas
'Kabuli' chickpea is lighter-coloured, larger, and with a smoother coat. These chickpeas can be cooked and eaten cold in salads, cooked in stews, ground into flour, ground and shaped in balls and fried as flafel. Kabuli Chana also known as White Chickpeas, Chole, Garbanzo Beans or Egyptian Peas. It is used in India to make curries or add to salads. Kabuli Chana is especially popular in North India.
