FRASIX 100mg TABLET is a diuretic ("water tablet") that contains the active ingredient furosemide (or frusemide). It is used to treat conditions characterized by excessive fluid retention, such as heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and kidney disease, by increasing the excretion of water and salts in the urine to reduce swelling (edema). It is also used to treat high blood pressure.
