Variable Pitch Pulley

GRENCO Variable Pitch Pulley (Single Multi Grooves) is capable to give a wide range of infinite variable driven speed by changing the Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) by turning a nut, speed variation limit can be increased proportionately by using two or more driven Pulleys. Both the types of V-Belts i.e. A, B, C, D and Wedge Belts SPA, SPB, SPC section belts can be used for power transmission but power capacity depends on the sizes of Pulley diameter, number of Grooves and section of Belts. Single Multi Grooves Variable Pitch Pulleys stationery adjustable are ideal where intermittent change in driven speed required. Slurry Pump drive is an example of application. The Slurry Pump is used in Thermal Power Station at Ash Handling Plant. Mounting and operation of this pulley is very simple. It requires negligible attention and maintenance. The Variable Pitch Pulleys are also fitted on Motor and Driven shaft for fixed center distance. Range comprises of various diameter (2.5 to 17.2), number of Grooves (1 to 10) and section of V-Belts (A, B, C, D, SPA, SPB, and SPC). This Pulley is manufactured as per customer requirement basis and fitted 0.16 HP to 750 HP Motor.
