Squid

Squid are animals with 8 arms, large eyes, 2 tentacles, and a long slender body. They are invertebrates, which means they do not have a backbone. Squid contain three main body sections: head, mantle, and arms. They have tentacles, which are longer than the arms and contain special structures used for capturing prey.Squid have eight arms and two tentacles, with spiked suckers that help grasp and pull prey toward their beaks. Squid beaks are made out of hard chitin, the same material as insect exoskeletons, with sharp edges that are perfect for chopping up prey into bite-size chunks, according to the AMNH.
