Rotary drilling is the use of a continuous circular motion of the drill bit to make a hole. With rotary drilling, a hole is drilled by the continuous turning of a drill bit. Rotary drilling employs a rotating bit and drilling mud to cut through rock formations. As its name suggests, the centrifugal sifter (also called a rotary sieve) works on the principle of centrifugal forces to screen powders and granular materials. Typically, there is one inlet and two outlets, one for undersize or in spec powders and the other for oversized particles or foreign contaminants.
