A duffel bag, duffle bag, or kit bag is a large bag made of either natural or synthetic fabric (typically canvas), historically with a top closure using a drawstring. Generally a duffel bag is used by non-commissioned personnel in the military, and for travel, sports and recreation by civilians. In it's original form the duffel bag is a cylindrical bag made of cloth, with a draw string closure at the top but the term is now used to describe a variety of soft sided bags which are sometimes referred to as a 'weekender'. Duffle bags are great for travel and carrying gear. They come in all sizes and shapes and are perfect for carrying everything from clothes to toiletries to laptops.
