Delos Digital Readout System

The Delos DS-2V is a versatile and robust measurement system designed for a variety of machining applications including milling, lathe, and grinding. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 0-50°C and supports a relative humidity of up to 95% without condensation. Weighing 2.1 kg, the DS-2V provides exceptional precision with available resolutions ranging from 10 µm down to 0.1 µm for linear encoders and 0.001 or 1 for rotary encoders.

Powering the system is a wide range input of 100 VAC to 230 V AC, with an operating tolerance of ±10%. The unit features a 7-segment LED display with a height of 17 mm for easy axis reading. Each axis can accept A/B quadrature signals, and the system supports a maximum input frequency of 300 KHz. It has a storage temperature range of -20 to 70°C and a vibration resistance of 25 m/s² (55-2000 Hz), making it suitable for tough industrial environments.

With an IP42 protection class, the DS-2V is built to resist dust and water to a certain degree, ensuring reliability and durability. The system is highly configurable and can be set for milling, lathe, or grinder modes. Its general functions include centering, metric/inches display, absolute/incremental modes, power-off memory, reference memory, built-in calculator, pitch circle diameter (PCD) for milling, and vibration filters for grinding. The DS-2V also supports various features for precise machining, including linear error compensation, tool libraries for lathe operations, and specific functions like simple and smooth “R” for milling applications.
